Can I get my Minnesota carry permit from you?

Apply at your local sheriff's department. Application process discussed in class.

How long is the class?

The class starts at 9:00 AM and will run for about 5 to 6 hours. Renewal class will run for 3 to 4 hours. We take a half hour break for lunch.

How do I purchase a handgun?

Minnesota residents must have a valid drivers license plus a Permit to Carry or Permit to Purchase when purchasing a firearm from a licensed dealer.

What is the shooting test?

The shooting exercise will consist of firing a total of 30 rounds at 15 feet and 21 feet.

Where do we shoot?

We shoot outside weather permitted. If we shoot indoors we go to Bill Gun Range in Hudson, WI. There will be an extra cost for indoors of $24.
